







Defeat Diabetes Foundation (DDF), a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit established in September 1990, was incorporated on November 21, 1991 under the laws of the state of Florida as a nonprofit corporation, and is currently recognized in all 50 states.
Mission Statement
The Mission of Defeat Diabetes Foundation is the prevention, early identification and effective self management of diabetes. DDF has awareness and interactive programs in all 50 states and provides medical supplies to developing nations. We offer critical information and education programs with a focus on Type 2 diabetes, nutrition and physical fitness.
Awareness + Action = Prevention®
We are committed to continuing this work for the 24 million diabetics and 57 million pre-diabetics in the United States with the disease. Diabetes is a global epidemic and we are working with individuals and organizations worldwide to promote awareness, early detection and self-management of the disease.
The Foundation is supported through donations by concerned individuals and is operated by contracted, salaried and volunteer services.
